Two brothers from Essex
We're twins. One of us runs a working lift business; the other builds software. Cortana AI started when we stopped waiting for someone to build the tools we needed and built them ourselves: for the paperwork that follows an engineer home at night, the enquiry forms that quietly break, the websites that look fine but never ring.
We built our own first. Then we started building for the trades the big agencies ignore: the paving firm, the plumber, the roofer. Businesses whose work is skilled, but whose software never was.
That's still the test every project has to pass. Would we run our own business on it? If the answer is no, it doesn't ship.
What we believe
- Honest about AI. We'll tell you where AI earns its place and where it doesn't. No hype, and no promises we can't keep.

- British-built, GDPR-aware. We work to UK GDPR and recognised security practice from the first conversation.

Every request routes through one proxy that can reach over a hundred models across multiple providers. If one degrades or raises prices, we change a line of configuration, not your system.
It knows exactly what it costs
Every call is logged with its cost, per model, with UK VAT accounted for. AI spend that's measured, not discovered on a bill.
Specialists that check each other
A router hands each request to the right specialist agent, and their work can be reviewed before an answer goes out. The same architecture as LiftAI.
Paired with the live client sites it becomes a simple claim: we build for businesses that still run on paper, and we run our own systems, so we know what it takes to keep them working.
